Darroch Learg is located in the village of Ballater in the Cairngorms National Park. It stands in a sunny position in wooded grounds on the slopes of Craigendarroch and boasts a wonderful outlook across the valley of the River Dee to the hills around Glen Muick. With ten lovely bedrooms, delicious food, comfortable sitting rooms and stunning views, Darroch Learg is a haven to which many have returned time and time again.

The ground floor of the beautifully renovated Darroch Learg has two light and spacious sitting rooms with wood-burning stoves, comfortable chairs in which to relax and read a book, have a game of chess or even play the Steinway. There is a snug bar from which you can choose a dram from over 50 Scottish malt whiskies or enjoy a cool G&T as you mull over the wine list. The stunning bespoke Brintons Timorous Beasties carpet leads you through to the conservatory dining room where breakfast and dinner is served.
