Spring events in Ballater

With spring arriving in Ballater we look forward to all the wonderful events happening in the village over the next few weeks and months.

Later this month the events to celebrate the King’s Coronation begin, with the weekend of 6th and 7th May certainly being a great one to spend in Ballater. Events include a screening of the ceremony, a Big Lunch on the green and a performance by the pipe band. Find full details of all events on the poster.

Ballater Golf Week is always a popular week. It has been running since 1975 and this year is taking place from 13th - 19th May. It involves a week of golf competition and local entertainment. You can enter via the Ballater Golf club website. 

On Sunday 4th June the Ballater Duck Festival promises to be a great fun day out. Think giant inflatable ducks racing down the river! There will also be stalls in the village and the pipe band will be playing. 

Ballater Walking Festival is taking place from 3rd - 9th June. Walkers will meet at the hut on the green each morning and then enjoy some of the amazing scenery that Deeside has to offer. You can see the full range of walls on offer and book via their website.
